Tribal Reunification & Permanency

Mission Statement:

Tribal Reunification Services strives to help reunify Muscogee (Creek) children with their parent(s)/guardian(s) through education and connections to community resources meant to foster positive behavioral changes.  Our goal is to find Permanency for the children through either reunification or, when those efforts have failed, termination of parental rights.

Objective:

Tribal Reunification Services Caseworker’s provide services to families whose children have been placed into custody of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation when children are removed from their home due to abuse or neglect. Services provided are designed to work with parents in the reunification process to correct conditions that led to the removal of their children and to provide for the health, welfare, and safety of the child during the treatment period or, if treatment cannot or does not correct the problems after actual attempts have been made to do so, to provide for the long term health, welfare, and safety of the child.
